TWAS has released its Annual Report for 2023, highlighting the growth of its programmes, the Academy’s latest milestones, and insights into how the Academy has continued to progress.
Among the highlights are the Academy’s 40th Anniversary Launch, TWAS’s unique catalyst grants to all-women research teams in the global South to take concrete action in response to climate change, and a new South-South fellowship programme with Brazil. The report uses graphs and charts to detail the advancement of existing TWAS programmes, its membership and networks, and the Academy’s greatly increasing visibility in social media. It also includes listings of TWAS’s new Fellows and prize winners as well as details about its involvement in science policy and diplomacy.
