The Fondation maladies rares is a unique cooperative framework dedicated to rare diseases research. Co-founded by university hospitals, research organizations and patients’ organizations, it acts as a strategic hub to coordinate, federate and fund rare diseases research. The Fondation and TWAS have issued a call to award the best international outreach and awareness-raising project on rare diseases.
