TYAN - Call for Participation in the 3rd African Symposium and 16th TYAN International Thematic Virtual Workshop on Big Data, Analytics and Machine Intelligence

The symposium will be held in hybrid mode (virtual and physical) at Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria

Automated Contact Tracing Research Group (ACTRG), Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria in partnership with The World Academy of Sciences  Young Affiliates Network (TYAN) aims to conduct a workshop and also host a symposium themed “Open Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare” to increase knowledge and build capacity in this field of research in Nigeria and the African continent.

It is holding in hybrid mode (virtual and physical) in Federal University of Technology, Akure on June 24 and 25, 2024.

Based on the current global advancements in Big Data, Analytics and Machine Intelligence research and to set the platform to promote multi-disciplinary research, the selected sub-themes for this symposium and workshop are as follows:

  1. Data Science for Pandemic Response and Impact
  2. Bioinformatics and Genome Sequencing
  3. Remote Healthcare and Telemedicine
  4. Epidemiological Analytics
  5. AI and Pandemic Response
  6. AI and Healthcare Analytics
  7. Ethical Data Science
  8. Internet-of-Things for Healthcare

We invite Postgraduate researchers and early career Scientists to participate and speak in the program.  The Symposium will be made up of Keynote, Plenary and invited Sessions by renowned and Senior Scientists, while other speakers will have the opportunity to present their work on topics related to any of the sub-themes.
