OGS: Advanced School in Sustainable Blue Growth

OGS is organizing an Advanced School in Sustainable Blue Growth for scholars from Mediterranean and Black Sea countries, in Trieste, Italy, from 20 to 24 July 2015.

OGS (Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale in Trieste, Italywww.ogs.trieste.it) is organizing a training course for scientists, researchers and PhD students dealing with aspects related to oceanography (physics, chemistry and biology), marine biology, geology, geophysics, geochemistry, environmental engineering, ecological modelling, climate study, costal zone management.

56 trainees (2 candidates per recipient country) will be identified and selected by the selection committee according to well-defined selection criteria. 15 trainers (international highly qualified professors) will be invited to lecture and tutor during the school.

Target countries are Mediterranean and Black Sea countries (Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Macedonia, Malta, Mauritania, Morocco, Montenegro, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine).
