TWAS Fellows elected in 2023 added to the TWAS Directory.

The Academy has officially added its 2023 class of Fellows to the TWAS Directory. The 50 new Fellows live and work in 21 different countries. Twenty are women, and six are from science- and technology-lagging countries.

TWAS Fellows represent the apex of scientific achievement in their respective fields, and contribute to the collective expertise of the Academy. They play a crucial role in shaping the future of scientific research and innovation in the developing world. The TWAS Online Directory provides profiles of some 1,296 elected lifetime Fellows and nearly 100 Young Affiliates, early-career scientists who are given five-year terms in the Academy because of their exceptional scientific promise.
