A bridge between worlds: the 10th AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy

Watch the new video and discover how science diplomacy can create pathways to cooperation

Ensuring that the results of scientific research form the basis for real-world policy decisions. This is the aim of the AAAS-TWAS Course on Science and Diplomacy, launched in 2014 with key funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

For the 2023 edition of the course, The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries (TWAS) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) brought together 13 pairs of scientists and policymakers from across the world to Trieste, Italy, on 19-23 June 2023.
