The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) International Award honours individuals or institutions that have enriched cultural and intellectual life in Egypt and globally. It recognizes achievements in fundamental or applied sciences, literature, arts, social sciences, or humanities. The award is given annually in a specific field, that the Higher Committee of the Award determines.
