The Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation has entered its second year and will again this year look for engineers, or engineering students, in ALL disciplines (civil, electrical, biomedical, mechanical, IT/computer/software, oi/gas/mining, agricultural etc.) who are innovating solutions to everyday problems. The deadline for entries is 29 June 2015.
Shortlisted candidates will receive mentoring and training from prominent African engineers and/or businessmen and -women in improving their innovation, business plan, marketing strategies and communication skills.
The winner of the programme will receive an additional GBP 52,000, and runners-up GBP 10,000 each.
