Bernardo (PhD 1992, Yale, USA) is distinguished university professor and university fellow, De La Salle University, USA. His research relates to polyculturalism and intergroup relations in intercultural contexts, hope and well-being, socioeconomic and other social inequalities, and sociocultural aspects of learning and achievement. He was president, Asian Association of Social Psychology; president, ASEAN Regional Union of Psychological Societies; president, Psychological Association of the Philippines; editor-in-chief, Asian Journal of Social Psychology; editor, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher.
